Our Process

I. Conversation

phase goals:
a. Explain your business
b. Explain our business
c. Share ideas
d. Gather assets

It all starts with talk. You tell us about your company and your vision. We'll ask about your clientele, your competition and about you. Our job is to communicate your company, so who better to ask?

We'll also explain what we do and how we fit into your business in language you can understand. We'll provide you a list of everything we need to get started: Your logo, your content, your napkin scribbles -- we want it all.

II. Conceptualization

phase goals:
a. Structure content
b. Determine aesthetic
c. Map out programming

Using our notes, we'll start to map out your site. We work collaboratively so that design and construction are considered equally. We examine everything you want to appear on the site and find the simplest way to structure it. Better planning always produces a better product.

To keep you up to speed, we'll present you with our work. If something doesn't make sense, we want to hear about it.

III. Visualization

phase goals:
a. Design site look & feel
b. Client sign-off

Here's where all the talk and planning starts to pay off. From the notes and content structure, we'll take a crack at designing the homepage. If it's a homerun, we move right along. If it's not quite there, no problem. Draft a list of changes and we'll address them in a revised version. We'll go back and forth a few times until you give your sign-off. That means, when you love it.

IV. Construction

phase goals:
a. Program back-end
b. Build all pages

Once the design is set, we start the behind-the-scenes work. Beneath every website is an elaborate system of programming and confusing acronyms that can get pretty overwhelming. Simply put, we build the individual pages of your site and link them all together. You can even keep tabs on our progress by logging into your client site any time you want.

V. Publication

phase goals:
a. Launch Site
b. Maintenance tutorial
c. Pat everyone's back

It's done. Everything is perfect. Time to show it to the world.

But before we hand over the keys, we'll show you how to make changes and updates all by yourself. Don't worry -- If you can type, you can handle it. It's that simple. And that way, nothing stands between your company's internet presence and your viewers.

And speaking of viewers, we'll also show you how to keep tabs on who's visiting, how they got there, how long they're staying and what they're checking out. Neat, huh?
